After a screening of the film Coco, kids will learn what it means to evaluate media critically through discussion and hands-on activities based on Common Sense Media's unique rating system.

Betsy Bozdech is the executive editor of ratings and reviews at Common Sense Media, which provides kids and families the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century. She's been with Common Sense since 2006; before that she worked at BabyCenter.com, Reel.com, Emode.com, AOL's Digital City, and Netflix. Betsy has spoken at international conferences, served as a film festival panelist and juror, interviewed filmmakers and actors, and more. She has bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism from Northwestern University and is a member of the Alliance of Women Film Journalists.
